Graduate Student Trainee Named Recipient of William Powers, Jr. Fellowship
Posted: July 26, 2011
Congratulations to Sociology graduate student and PRC Trainee Nicolette Manglos, who has just been named the recipient of the William Powers, Jr. Graduate Fellowship. The award is among the most prestigious fellowships the University of Texas at Austin offers.
The Powers Graduate Fellowship Program was created in 2009 from a generous donation through the Foundation for Global Sports Development via Dr. Steven Ungerleider. The Powers Graduate Fellowships are awarded by the Graduate School and provide a financial incentive package totaling $36,000 over a nine-month period. Students who receive one of these fellowships are considered to be among the most academically competitive scholars on our campus.
Kudos to Nicolette!
