Ronald Angel Receives Award for Excellence in Research on Aging

Dr. Ronald Angel is the winner of the 2012 Pearmain Prize from the Roybal Institute on Aging at the University of Southern California. The Roybal Institute fosters and recognizes excellence in research and community partnerships that further the needs of older minority persons, particularly those from underserved backgrounds. The Pearmain Prize for Excellence in Research on Aging honors a scholar who best exemplifies outstanding contributions to the field of translational aging research and its import to issues directly relating to older people.
