PRC Alumnus Jason Boardman Receives Award at PAA Meeting

On May 4, the Population Association of America awarded Jason Boardman its Early Achievement Award at its annual meeting. The award recognizes the career of a promising scholar who is a member of PAA. The award was established in 2009 and is given biennially to a scholar who has made distinguished contributions to population research during the first ten years after receipt of the Ph.D.
Jason Boardman, a PRC alumnus who received his Ph.D. in Sociology in 2002, is currently an Associate Professor of Sociology and Research Associate in Population Program, Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS), at the University of Colorado-Boulder. His research focuses on the social determinants of health with an emphasis on the gene-environment interactions related to health behaviors.
