PRC Research Thematic Areas
The PRC predominantly concentrates its research in the following five thematic areas: 1) Health Disparities; 2) Religion and Demographic Processes; 3) Children, Youth and Families; 4) Education and the Transition to Adulthood; and 5) Latin American and Border Demography. These represent the current areas of strength of the PRC as well as the areas in which we anticipate the most intense productivity and growth over the next five years. Many PRC researchers work in more than one of these overlapping and reinforcing areas, and in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams. These areas move well beyond the bounds of traditional demography and are on the cutting edge of population research.
