Third Annual Children's Shakespeare Festival

Location: B. Iden Payne Theater, Winship Drama Building
Time: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Elementary students from across Texas perform selections from Shakespeare's plays in original Elizabethan verse. Admission is free and open to the public.

The students are part of the educational outreach program of Shakespeare at Winedale, the university's renowned Shakespeare performance program. Photo opportunities for media are available at the following performances:

- Third and fourth graders from Zilker Elementary (Austin) present scenes from "A Comedy of Errors,"
- Fifth graders from Dudley Elementary (Victoria, Texas) present scenes from "Much Ado About Nothing,"
- Fifth graders from Converse Elementary (Converse, Texas) present scenes from "The Winter's Tale,"
- Fifth graders from Galindo Elementary (Austin) present scenes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream,"
- Fourth and fifth graders from Forest North Elementary (Round Rock) present scenes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream,"
- Sixth graders from Zavala Elementary (Austin) present scenes from "Romeo and Juliet."
