Biography


Dr. Lindstrom is the author of books and articles on modern Latin American literature and is the manager of the website of the Latin American Jewish Studies Association (LAJSA).(http://www.utexas.edu/cola/orgs/lajsa/) and its listserv (lajsa-list@utlists.utexas.edu).She is interested in gender, Jewish studies, sociology of the arts, and on-line scholarly resources, and is a translator of Latin American fiction and poetry. Dr. Lindstrom is also the Associate Director of the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies and is in charge of developing the Edwin Gale Collaborative for the Study of Jewish Life in the Americas. A symposium on the theme is being planned for October 2012.
