Queer History/Story in Library Research with Kristen Hogan

Kristen Hogan, your Women’s & Gender Studies Librarian & co-creator of the Black Queer Studies Collection, will lead a workshop on critical approaches to queer research, including how to make the most of UT Libraries for your queer research projects Come share your research experiences of and strategies for researching LGBTQ histories and stories. We will workshop critical database and Catalog searching, talk about subject headings and naming, and share resources to explore, like the Black Queer Studies Collection.  

Bring with you if you can:  a laptop, a source you use in your research and/or a current research question.  A light lunch will be served starting at 11:30; workshop from 12-1:15 pm.
