WGS Brown Bag

Wed, March 1, 2006 | Campus Club, WWH 407

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Bring your lunch and be a part of the conversation! How do we identify those associations and conferences most essential to our academic and professional goals? How can the right association or conference bolster those goals? How critical is it that we begin identifying those associations and conferences now? We invite other graduate students from any department who identify themselves as women's and gender studies scholars or whose projects include aspects of women's and /or gender studies to hear from and talk with faculty members. Come and talk with Dorie Gilbert (Social Work) and Sue Heinzelman (English and Women's and Gender Studies), faculty members committed to helping students navigate the often confusing channels of professional development. They will share their experiences and their advice with graduate students from all departments and academic disciplines.
