Fri, November 16, 2007 | PAR 201

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Employees often may have ideas and constructive feedback to contribute to the effectiveness of work organizations. Employees may exercise "voice" by expressing their ideas or take action to initiate organizational change. Conversely, employees may disengage from their jobs by not putting forth effort in their work or quitting. This talk conceptualizes employee voice and organizational change efforts within the context of workplace diversity and inclusion. Implications are also drawn for leadership and organizational innovation.
