"Designing e-Health Interventions for Low Health Literate Audiences"

Providing health information to low health literate audiences -- those who have a difficulties obtaining, processing, and acting on health information -- is a significant challenge. Websites designed specifically to meet the needs of these audiences offer a promising avenue for educating low health literate populations. Dr. Mackert will discuss existing research in this area and possibilities for more advanced interventions.
