Thu, February 21, 2008 | UT Law School

11:30 AM - 7:30 PM

The Barbara Jordan National Forum on Public Policy seeks to engage scholars, students, practitioners, and community leaders in an intellectual discourse about vital public policy issues confronting our society. While promoting the importance of public service and civic engagement, the Forum commemorates Barbara Jordan's legacy of ethical service to both her community and nation, and it prepares current and future leaders to effectively tackle pressing public policy concerns. 2008 will be the twelfth consecutive year members of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs have honored Professor Jordan's teachings and practice through this Forum.
