Course Description
Education as a societal institution, with emphasis on the United States educational system: how the system works; the effects of the system; recent changes. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing. Contains a substantial writing component and fulfills part of the basic education requirement in writing. Designed to accommodate 35 or fewer students. SAME AS SOC 321L , WGS 345 (TOPIC 23).
