Dr. Frank Guridy Honored with Wesley-Logan Book Prize from American Historical Association

Associate Professor and Warfield Center Director Dr. Frank Guridy has been awarded the American Historical Association (AHA)'s Wesley-Logan Prize for his book Forging Diaspora: Afro-Cuban and African Americans in a World of Empire and Jim Crow (Univ. of North Carolina Press). Established in 1992 by the AHA Committee on Minority Historians, this prize is funded by both the AHA and The Association for the Study of African American Life & History. The annual Wesley-Logan Book Prize recognizes an outstanding book in African diaspora history. Congratulations, Dr. Guridy, and thank you for your celebrated contribution to the field!
