Dr. Lisa B. Thompson Receives the Humanities Research Award!

Dr. Lisa B. Thompson has been awarded a Humanities Research prize, which provides funding for tenured and tenure-track faculty whose work falls within the disciplines of the humanities. The award supports faculty in their effort to bring a research project to completion and offers $5,000 research money for three consecutive years. Dr. Thompson received the award for her project entitled “Performances of Black Cultural Trauma and Memory.”
