Lecturer Position Available

The Department of African and African Diaspora Studies invites applications for a part-time, one semester-long appointment as a lecturer with a focus on Rap Music and/or Hip Hop Culture, to begin September 1, 2014. This position is contingent upon student enrollment and budgetary approval. The successful candidate will be expected to teach one course in the fall 2014 semester. A PhD and record of teaching excellence are preferred. Security sensitive position; background check conducted on applicant selected.
