What AADS faculty have to say about your future academic and career plans:

Classrooms are powerful sites for social change. Our students are encouraged to be critical thinkers, skillful writers, thorough researchers, and politically conscious and active community members. In today's global society, nearly every career requires knowledge about the ways in which race, gender, sexuality, and class impact transnational populations. AADS prepares students to think critically about social relations in the U.S. and around the world.

Students interested in careers in education, law, politics, health, and the fine arts will find that an AADS major will readily accommodate their future career and academic plans.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of Liberal Arts Career Services on campus. This office has a close relationship with the AADS department and will talk to you about the many possibilities available to AADS majors.
