Doctoral Candidate Chiyuma Elliott Awarded Wallace Stegner Fellowship

American Studies doctoral candidate Chiyuma Elliott was  awarded the Wallace Stegner Fellowship at Stanford for creative writers. Ms. Elliott is also pursuing an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College. She was also a recipient of the John Hope Franklin Dissertation Fellowship in 2010 as well as the Continuing University Fellowship in 2009.
