Dr. Patrick Jagoda to join department as Donald D. Harrington Faculty Fellow in American Studies for 2014 - 2015 academic year

The Department of American Studies congratulates Dr. Patrick Jagoda, from the University of Chicago, on his appointment as a Donald D. Harrington Faculty Fellow in American Studies. Dr. Jagoda will be joining our campus community for the 2014-2015 academic year. Dr. Jagoda is a co-founder and director of the Game Changer Chicago Design Lab, as well as a co-editor for the journal Critical Inquiry. He is completing a book project on the idea of the network in post-1945 American culture, and he works in the fields of new media studies and twentieth and twenty-first century American literature and culture, with a focus on digital games, electronic literature, virtual worlds, television, cinema, the novel, and media theory.
