ANT 392L • Introduction to Graduate Physical Anthropology

This course will consist of a combination of lectures, discussions and student presentations, and will cover major topics in physical anthropology. Topics covered will include evolutionary theory, anatomical, behavioral and genetic diversity among primates, methods of phylogenetic reconstruction, and a functional and phylogenetic analysis of the human and nonhuman primate fossil record. Lab material will also be incorporated into the course.
