ANT 323K • Primate Behavior
10:00 AM-11:00 AM
Students must register for one of the following labs, all of which meet in ARC 2.172: 26625 T 2-4:00, 26630 W 2-4:00, 26635 Th 2-4:00, 26640 F 2-4:00
This class surveys the social behavior of nonhuman primates, particularly the monkeys and ages. The two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory each week are structured to produce comparative knowledge of the complexity and function of social behavior. The lab requires the student to make observations on socially living lemurs. These notes are entered into a computer file by the student. The instructor combines the class data and provides each student with a tabulation of class data that provides the data base for the lab paper.
