Course Description
Archaeology plays a critical role in our understanding of the human past and in reconstructing human behavior and past lifeways. This course is a brief introductory survey of contemporary archaeological techniques and World Prehistory for undergraduate students. We will explore the ways in which archaeologists use material culture, other physical remains and, in some cases, documentary materials, to have a deeper understanding of our past.
