This talk examines students' co-construction of participation and enactments of disciplinary skill in a chemistry MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), in respect to the broader cultural context of digital liberalism in which this instructional channel has taken shape.
Graham Jones is Associate Professor of Anthropology at MIT and author of Trade of the Tricks: Inside the Magician's Craft (California, 2011).
