Biography
Major Wade L. Aubin is the Operations Officer and an Associate Professor of Military Science at The University of Texas in Austin. He has served as Support Platoon Leader, HHC 1-161 IN, Spokane, WA; Mechanized Platoon Leader, C Co, 1-161 IN, Wenatchee, WA; Executive Officer, HHC 1-161 IN, Spokane, WA and Baghdad, Iraq; S5 Civil Military Operations Officer, HHC 1-161 IN, Baghdad, Iraq; S4, HHC 1-161 IN, Spokane, WA; Instructor / S1, National Guard Bureau Personnel Recovery Team, Austin, TX; Commander, 143d Long Range Surveillance Detachment, Austin, TX; Commander, C Co (Long Range Surveillance), 3-124

Major Aubin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA and a Master of Science degree in Geology from Washington State University, Pullman, WA. His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course and the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course.

Major Aubin is married to the former Julie Estey of Middleborough, Massachusetts. They have
two children, Courtney and Zach.
