Longhorn Battalion Runs Game Ball to College Station
Following tradition, cadets from the Army ROTC ran the official game ball for the Texas Shootout from Austin to College Station

The tradition of running the football was something that Longhorn cadets were proud to carry on. The experience is one that cannot be paralleled. Cadet Matthew Burgoon enthusiastically described his feeling of school spirit as he proudly jogged across the Aggies' campus wearing his burnt orange t-shirt and surrounded by a sea of maroon. All the cadets involved agreed that the experience was unforgettable.
Just as the trek from Austin to College Station was not easy, the Friday's game against the Aggies was a hard-fought battle. Regardless of how the football team's season ends, Army ROTC cadets will always remember how they carried the spirit of Texas to College Station while in college.
