The new and returning cadets were then in-processed with the usual paperwork before conducting a “round robin” of three stations. The first of these stations was a brief familiarization to the Accessions Process by the Battalion Operations Officer, c/MAJ Jason Robinson. Next, the cadets went into the Computer Lab where c/CPT Pavel Potoplyak, the Battalion Personnel Officer, taught a class on the new interactive AROTC website (for a membership request, please contact c/CPT Potoplyak at firstname.lastname@example.org). The final station was a trip to the supply room with c/CPT Morford, the Battalion Supply Officer. Here, contracted cadets received one set of ACUs and one set of BDUs, while non-contracted cadets received a set of BDUs. Everyone received the summer Physical Fitness Uniform and their Military Science textbooks. In preparing them for the upcoming semester this orientation proved to be a great success.
