MSIIIs Practice Dealing With Mission Variables

Posted: February 3, 2007

The MSIIIs worked in groups of three to deal with non-US military personnel encountered on a routine combat patrol. Each group had 5 minutes to demonstrate they were capable of dealing with a specific MSIV role player. Upon completion of each mission, the MSIV role player lead an after-action-review in order analyze what went well and what could be improved upon in each mission.

The culmination of lab was a larger exercise involving all the MSIIIs conducting a cordon-and-search in order to force the resignation of a corrupt political leader. During the course of this final mission, most of the role players encountered earlier made an appearance in order to disrupt the mission and test the abilities of the MSIIIs to deal with several variables at one time.
