URD 118L • Practice in Spoken Urdu II

Course Description

The purpose of this class is to help students enhance their speaking skills. Each week, we will discuss a different topic and students are expected to use their previously acquired grammar and vocabulary in order to conduct discussions. Students are expected to have taken second-year Urdu/Hindi before enrolling in this class. The semester grade will be based upon class participation and attendance record.

With each unexcused absence, the student loses 8 points from his/her semester grade. It is thus impossible to receive an "A" for the semester if the student has more than 1 unexcused absence. In order for your absence to be considered "excused," you must have a note from your doctor.
