Course Description
This course is designed for students who have attained an advanced level of proficiency. In addition to newspaper articles in the main textbook, students will read various authentic materials, such as short stories, essays and magazine articles. The course helps students expand both linguistic and sociolinguistic knowledge, as well as their vocabulary and kanji knowledge. Class will be conducted entirely in Japanese in order to promote the maximum use of the target language. The course is repeatable for credit.
Grading Policy
Quizzes, homework, participation, written tests, reading assignments, writing assignments, etc.
