Course Description

Graduate proseminar for East Asian studies MA students. Topics and readings will vary but will include classic monographs and articles in different fields of East Asian studies and introductions to historiographical and theoretical approaches in East Asian studies

Grading Policy

Class Presentations and participation - 40% Three book reviews or short historiographical papers 20% each
