Course Description

A close reading of portions of the YOGA-SUTRA and of the NYAYA-SUTRA along with classical commentaries.

Grading Policy

The course fulfills the University's requirements for a substantial writing component: there will be two short papers, a class presentation, and a final paper (preceded by an outline or abstract), plus a couple of tests on glossary items.
