Rakugo with Katsura Sunshine: Japanese ‘Sit-Down’ Comedy in English

Canadian born Katura Sunshine served a strict apprenticeship under well-known Rakugo Master Katsura Bunshi VI in Osaka, Japan. Rakugo (literally “falling words”) is presented by a lone storyteller in kimono, kneeling on a cushion, using two simple plops – fan and hand towel. Come out to laugh and appreciate Japanese ancient performing art in English! Traditional Japanese attire encouraged (but not required).
Doors open at 5pm. The performance will last approximately 90 minutes with time for Q&A at the end.
