Description This is the continuation of MAL 506. Five class hours a week for one semester. MAL 507 contains 3 components: Lecture, Homework assignments, and presentation of completed homework assignments by each student in class, Presentation of all homework assignments will be on the 4th class of each week.

Course Structure This semester there will be 20 lessons which will focus on Kerala culture and advanced grammar.  There will be three tests during the course of this semester and a comprehensive final examination. Each test is cumulative. Hence, students are held responsible for any material that is covered during the semester since the last test. Following shows the percentage contribution of each course work towards the final grade.

Description For admission into MAL 312L, students must have completed MAL 312K.  The class will meet three hours per week and will carry three hours of credit. 

Course Structure Second year MAL 2 geared towards training students in Kerala culture and advance grammar of Malayalam. To teach the language twenty essays on different aspects of Kerala culture are selected. At the end of each lesson, grammar explanation and exercises are given.  At the end of the course the student will acquire a general knowledge about Kerala, its culture and thorough knowledge of grammatical structure.
