Course Description
Prerequisites Students should have previous experience studying a foreign language. Course Description This course is an intensive introduction to ancient Greek designed to provide students as quickly as is feasible with a solid foundation for reading original passages in Attic prose and poetry. We shall use a long-established introductory Greek text, and move at a pace which will challenge but not overwhelm. At the end of the course, we shall begin reading Plato's Apology.
