Course Description
This lower-division lecture class introduces the history of the pre-modern world, familiarizing students with various cultures and emphasizing their interactions from the emergence of homo sapiens until c. 1500. Grading Policy Attendance 10% Weekly quizzes 60% Final essay-exam 30% Texts Bulliet et al., THE EARTH AND ITS PEOPLES; plus representative primary sources, both texts and images.
