Course Description

It has two aims: to increase the student's fluency in Latin through reading and close examination of grammar and syntax, and to introduce the students to Roman life and culture. There will be daily assignments from the Wheelock text consisting of some review of Chapters 1-25 and a careful study of Chapters 26-40. This will be supplemented by further connected readings from selected books and handouts. Prereq: Latin 506 with a grade of C (or placement test)
