It has two aims: to increase the student's fluency in Latin through reading and close examination of grammar and syntax, and to introduce the students to Roman life and culture. Wheelock, Wheelock's Latin 6th edition (Harper Collins) Groton & May, 38 Latin Stories (Bolchazy) Bennett, New Latin Grammar (Bolchazy) Goldman & Szymanski, English Grammar for Students of Latin (Olivia & Hill) (optional) The instructor may choose one of the following Petronius, Petronius: Satyricon (Bolchazy) Apuleius , Cupid and Psyche (OUP) Caesar, Invasion of Britain (Bolchazy)
