Course Description
30100 TTH 8:00-9:30 WAG 112 30105 MWF 9:00-10:00 WAG 112 Dean-Jones CANCELLED 30110 MWF 2:00-3:00 CAL 200 This course has two aims: to increase the students' fluency in Latin through reading and close examination of connected passages of prose and poetry and to introduce the students to the end of the Roman Republic. The selections read will be primarily from Roman prose, but towards the end of the semester we will read some poetry.
Grading Policy
There will be 2 midterms (20% each), a final (40%) and unannounced pop quizzes (20%). Poor attendance will result in the deduction of points from a student's overall grade.
