Deborah Beck, Jen Ebbeler, Megan Seaholm, Chloe Ireton, Janine Jones: "Strategies for Teaching Ethics in the Arts & Humanities Classroom"

Thu, April 4, 2013 • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM • FAC 4

Instructors from our Liberal Arts ethics initiative have successfully incorporated practical ethics into their large lecture courses.

Our guest panelists will present the frameworks they used, their course assignments, and student feedback. Come learn about the challenges they have faced, and the solutions that have worked best.

In addition, two Supplemental Instructors from Dr. Seaholm’s class will share their experiences as trained leaders of ethics discussions, both in class and online.

This session will offer practical tips for participants interested in converting their courses to the Ethics and Leadership flag, testing out new pedagogical tools, and discovering the benefits of increased TA involvement.

RSVP by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29.
