Course Description
**This course is offered on pass/fail credit only** This course is for Economics majors who have successfully completed ECO 420K. Students can register for this course once and student has received an internship offer. Internship must be related to theories and principles learned in Economics. Students will need to turn in two completed evaluations: An evaluation of the work experience and also a completed evaluation by the studentÂ’s supervisor. (Forms will be sent to students as it gets closer to the end of the semester). In addition you will need to complete a paper on your work experience. Here are the details on that: Paper to be 5-6 pages in length with the following information included: (1) describe your work in the internship and evaluate its contribution to your personal and professional growth as an economist; (2) discuss the utility and relevance of your university training to your experience in the workplace Papers and completed evaluations must be turned in 7 days prior to the last day of class to the Undergraduate Advising Office. ALSO: Please remember to turn in both completed evaluation forms; one for you to complete on your work experience and one for your supervisor to complete regarding your performance. Both of these MUST be turned in with your paper.
