Course Description
A comparative look at the experience of major Latin American economies in terms of their evolving resource bases and the policies associated with their twentieth century growth paths leads to an assessment of how these affect the sources and outcomes of their recent restructuring experience. The implications of this for regional and hemispheric integration and for the alleviation of poverty and inequality are explored.
