Course Description

The course surveys labor econoimcs, including: Labor supply; the economics of education and training; the demand for labor, including workers and hours; the determinants of domestic and international migration; search behavior and the matching of workers and firms; and other issues in wage determination. The topics provide a background necessary to analyze most issues relating to policies that affect the labor market.
