Research
Grants administered by the UT Vice President for Research
The Office of the Vice President for Research administers several UT research grant programs:
Research Grants
Up to $5,000. Must be tenured or tenure-track faculty. Application deadline is in September.
Special Research Grants
Up to $500. Must be tenured or tenure-track faculty. Applications may be submitted between September 1 and May 31.
Undergraduate Research Fellowships
Up to $1,000. Must be a full-time undergraduate student. Application deadline is early October. These are usually given for work on projects supervised by a faculty member.
University Coop Grants
Between $2,000 and $5,000. Must be tenured or tenure-track faculty or research staff. Deadline is early November.
