Job Description:
The Department of Economics and the Center for Women's and Gender Studies invite applications for a tenured position (Associate Professor or Professor) that we expect to be available for Fall 2008. Applicants are invited from all fields, with a particular interest in Gender and Health Economics or Gender and Labor Economics. Appointees are expected to engage in high quality research/scholarly activities, be effective classroom teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and provide service to the department, college and university. Applicants must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. Ph.D. is required. Job Description:
The Department of Economics periodically hires Lecturers/Sr. Lecturers and is currently seeking to develop a pool of candidates for these NON tenure-track positions. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes there is departmental need for an annual appointment. Positions are renewable annually; contingent upon budgetary funding and performance. Applicants are invited from all fields of Economics. Appointees are expected to be excellent classroom teachers, engaged in scholarly activities and service. Applicants must hold a PhD in Economics. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience.
