Economics Welcomes New Visiting Lecturer
Hilal Yilmaz, Ph.D. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

We pleased to announce that Dr. Hilal Yilmaz has joined the Department of Economics as a Visiting Lecturer. Hilal Yilmaz received her B.S. in Mathematics from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey; and both her M.S. in Finance and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her current research interests include covariance matrix estimation and conditional value-at-risk optimization using quantile regression.
