Faculty Recruitment for Fall 2007

AF Any Field in Economics The Department of Economics invites applications for two (or more) tenure-track positions (Assistant Professor) that we expect to be available for Fall 2007. Applicants are invited from all fields, but we are particularly interested in the fields of microeconomic theory, international economics, or econometrics. Appointees are expected to engage in high quality research/scholarly activities, perform service, and be effective classroom teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants must hold a PhD for the rank of Assistant Professor, or will be appointed at the rank of Instructor if dissertation is very close to completion. Salary is highly competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience. Candidates should provide vita, 3 original letters of reference and samples of research papers and publications. Background check will be conducted for finalists. Position funding is pending budgetary approval. Deadline for applications is November 15, 2006. AA/EEO employer.
