2013 Second Year Paper Award Ceremony

Nick Buchholz, Max Stinchcombe, & Hassan Afrouzi
Two winners were selected for the 2013 Best Second Year Paper:
Nick Buchholz won the award for his paper, “Price Regulation and Location Choice in the Taxi Industry,” which was selected by a faculty committee as one of two best papers submitted by 2nd year doctoral students.
Hassan Afrouzi also won the award for his paper, "Collusion and Cyclicality of Markups." The award ceremony was held Wednesday, September 18th, and Max Stinchcombe, chair of the Graduate Studies Committee, presented the awards.
