Course Description

Computer-assisted.

In this section of Banned Books, we will read novels that were considered objectionable and banned from classrooms, libraries, or media distribution due to their sexual content. Along the way, we will ask and try to unpack why individuals, educational institutions, or governmental organizations deem certain texts "obscene."
