Re: Graduate Application Deadline
For Ph.D./M.A. in English and the M.F.A. in English Creative Writing applicants:
Applicants should make sure that they complete and submit their online Apply Texas application as well as pay their application fee BEFORE midnight of December 15. Documents can be uploaded after the 15th without penalty or disqualification.
Documents can be uploaded through the link below AFTER applicants have received an e-mail message from UT Austin regarding receipt of their online application. It may take 24 to 48 hours to receive the e-mail message.
This is the link for uploading documents: https://utdirect.utexas.edu/ogs/forms/supp_docs.WBX
We have received MANY Interfolio recommendation letters. Those letters have to be forwarded on to UT's GIAC (Graduate and International Admissions Center) to be uploaded. GIAC is receiving a lot of recommendation letters, so it will take them a long time to get them all uploaded. If your recommendation letter is not in your Status Check yet, that's okay. It will be uploaded as soon as possible. Your application will not be delayed or dismissed.
