Professional Skills Panel on Fellowship and Grant Applications
Fri, October 25, 2013 • 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM • The Atwood Library in Calhoun
The English Department Professional Skills Committee invites you to a panel on fellowship and grant applications on Friday, October 25, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Atwood Library.
Panelists will include Melanie Morgan, Foundations Specialist in the College of Liberal Arts's Office of Research, who will discuss the resources her office provides for graduate students in English who are researching and applying for grants and fellowships; and successful fellowship applicants Meghan Andrews and Kevin Bourque, who will discuss their application processes and advice for writing the fellowship or grant proposal.
Following the panel presentations there will be plenty of time for questions about researching available grants and fellowships, determining where and when to apply, writing your proposal, and anything else you would like to know more about.
