An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States institution or proof of equivalent training at an institution outside the United States.

Additionally, an applicant must have 15 hours of upper-division English credit.

College seniors should upload her or his current transcript. If admitted, she or he will be required to submit a final official transcript that states the bachelor’s degree has been awarded by the time of enrollment.

Successful candidates typically possess transcripts with a preponderance of “A”-level grades in their upper-division English and related courses.

The longer an applicant has been out of college, the less influential her or his transcript is upon our decision.

Applicants are unlikely to be disadvantaged by rocky starts to their college careers.
